Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Articles submitted for this section must be derived from scientific research, provide unpublished and relevant findings, and adapt to the journal's thematic specialty in its disciplinary variants, meeting the following main criteria:

1) Maximum length: 15 pages.

2) Margins: 2.5 cm per side.

3) Font: Georgia 12-point font, with 1.5-point line spacing and justified text.

Articles for Scientific Dissemination

This section will accept proposals for articles and essays for dissemination that contribute to the dissemination of knowledge in the field of tourism and its various geographical, urban, economic, ecological, gastronomic, social, anthropological, and educational aspects. Criteria:

1) Maximum length: 13 pages.

2) Margins: 2.5 cm per side.

3) Font: Georgia, 12-point type, with 1.5-point spacing and justified text.

Reviews

Reviews

For this section, proposals for reviews of articles and books specialized in the field of tourism and the indicated areas, with a maximum of five years of publication, will be accepted. Only texts with a maximum of two authors will be reviewed. Criteria:

1) Maximum length: 5 pages.

2) Margins: 2.5 cm per side.

3) Font: Georgia, 12-point type, with 1.5-point spacing and justified text.
