Abstract

Colombia has a great wealth of flora and fauna biodiversity. Based on this, an investigation was carried out on bird sightings in the southeast of Bogotá. Through a case study carried out at finca San Luis, it seeks to promote community birdwatching through a digital tool that allows the local community to be trained and informed, as well as promote the preservation of the ecosystem. With this, general information about birds is compiled, and can be uploaded to a web page, developed as part of one of the District Tourism Institute's campaigns to promote rural tourism and ecotourism. For this reason, it will be shown the third phase of the community birdwatching project that has been running for nearly four years in the TORNARE research hotbed, at the Minuto de Dios University Corporation.
