LOW-COST CARRIER COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS (NATIONAL MODELS VS INTERNATIONAL MODELS

Abstract

Currently, the airline's companies are in a competitive context, based on globalization and air transport decentralization establishing new competitors products and service models generating a big impact in commercial aviation industry. In Colombia, this low cost carrier model are reflected with EasyFly, Viva Colombia and Wingo airlines in terms of international case the airlines are Southwest in USA Ryanair in Europe and JetStar for Asia. During this research the main objective is to make a comparison between Colombia low cost airlines and International low cost airlines. The established methodology began with a literature review taking as a theoretical reference the analysis made by the authors to the low cost carrier in Colombia and currently are working in the foreing models vs Colombian models comparison
