Abstract

The objective is to recognize glamping as an alternative to traditional lodging establishments in tourist destinations in which the natural environment stands out, specifically in the municipality of Pahuatlán Pueblo Mágico through the use of a quantitative methodology that is based on the analysis of the variables obtained, referring to related projects in territories with tourist activity that share similar characteristics. The results obtained support the sustainable advantages that the new type of lodging represents, from the tourism and hotel point of view, as well as its impact and importance as an alternative to traditional lodging establishments in order to find areas of opportunity and take advantage of them for an improvement that allows the approach to a balance between what tourism companies offer their clients and the care and respect that they have for the environment in the aforementioned destination.
